Day 02: Pahalgam-Local Sightseeing Meal: Breakfast and Dinner It is a resort set in a pristine village lying next to the Lidder River. Once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmiris premiere resort. Cools even during the heights of summer. After breakfast enjoy horse ride at Pahalgam. Around pahalgam are many places of interest and because the resort is in between fairly steep hills. It is worth hiring a pony rather than walking. Day 03: Pahalgam to Srinagar Meal: Breakfast and Dinner After breakfast, we drive to Srinagar via Pampore, Awantipora and the village of Bijbhera which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway at khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the lidder river flowing from the opposite direction and transfer to the hotel and overnight stay at Srinagar. Local Sightseeing includes a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Chashmashahi, Pari Mahal. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel for a dinner and overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel. Day 04: Srinagar- Gulmarg Meal: Breakfast and Dinner After breakfast in the morning proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive to Gulmarg. It is situated 60 km from the Srinagar Capital. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon. Later indulge in some horse riding.. drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to Hotel Day 05: Srinagar- Sonamarg Meal: Breakfast and Dinner After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg is a hill station in the northern part of Kashmir Valley in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
